- JWMA was established on May 11, 2012, through the merger of the National Woodworking Machinery Association (established June 30, 1962, Tokyo) and the Chubu Woodworking Machinery Association (established March 1948, Nagoya).
- Objectives
- Through the activities of research, study and promotion of technology, environment and safety of manufacturing woodworking machinery, knife and related products, as well as enhancing friendship among members, aim at solid growth of woodworking machinery related industry, thus contribute to improving national life.
